Dear David and Elizabeth.
I was saddened to hear of your dad´s passing and I send you sincere sympathy. Your dad Kenvyn was my mums first cousin and while he was at hime in Tumble they were very close indeed. The first recollection I have of meeting your mother was just before they got married and your Grand mother my great aunt Lizzy who was a wonderful seamstress, was making her wedding dress, as a young girl this fascinated me and she allowed me to see the dresses which made me feel very privileged. Then a little while later when I again visited Aunty Lizzy she and several of her neighbours were busy preparing for the Wedding breakfast, I can remember her decorating a heart shaped flan with cream piped all around the top. I thought it was beautiful. I don´t remember seeing your dad during this time, he was probably still away teaching. However, your mum and dad did visit my mother before they left for New Zealand and fortunately I happened to be there at the time. They were so looking forward to their new life in NZ and I am so glad that they had a few happy years there before your Mum´s illness took hold.
My sister Sian and I have very happy memories of childhood visits to their home, and I am glad to have know your very talented dad. Sincerely Delyth.

Our deepest condolences to Kenvyn's family. A good man, who gave so much to his music, and so much pleasure to others - more recently though his founding of the Old Crotchets choir. We really enjoyed being part of Kenvyn's music world, and will miss his leadership, his guidance, and his "songs from the valleys".

I was saddened to hear that Kenvyn had passed away. We had some fun researching our family tree, I really enjoyed listening to him tell me stories from his childhood in South Wales.
My thoughts are with family and friends.

Nos da Kenvyn.

I am saddened to hear of Kenvyns passing. He was very kind and thoughtful to me, helping me with my music as I struggled with my memory. My condolences to you all.
