Peter WILDBORE Obituary

Peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital, aged 81 years. Loved husband of Dianne for 50 years, loved Dad of Stephen, Bronwyn & Michael Boddy, and Laura, loved grandad of Erin, and Sian. Youngest brother of Sophie & Bernie Willis, Albert & Ruth, Sylvia (dec), Charles (his twin, dec). A Memorial Service for Peter will be held at William Cotton & Sons Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding, on Tuesday 31 March 2026 at 11.00am. For those unable to attend, the Service will be livestreamed at: www.williamcotton.co.nz/tributes. Special thanks to the staff of Ward 29, Palmerston North Hospital.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Peter at the Massey University Vet Dept back in the 1980s. So many years ago.... He was a great help with the purchasing of our lab supplies. A nice guy - I am sure he will be sadly missed.

Dear Dianne and family
My thoughts are with you at this time. I worked with Peter and remember fondly his humor and the extra effort to help others. He was a very private man who beamed when talking about his beautiful family. I have missed running into him at the supermarket and his cheeky smile. Rest easy Peter.

I worked alongside Peter for nearly 40 years. He was so helpful and many a time would go out of his way to get what I needed for the lab. Peter always had a cheery smile on his face and morning teas were often amusing when he was there.
He will be remembered fondly by many staff and students.
