Peter SPEEDY Obituary

SPEEDY, Peter:
Peter's positivity, courage and fortitude was an inspiration to all as he faced a long, challenging, and tortuous last ride. With his family supporting him, Peter passed away gently and peacefully at Cranford Hospice, Hastings, on May 19, 2021, aged 69 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Daina and Al and proud grandfather of Imogen. Loved brother of Gail Kirkham and partner Pete. Loved son of the late Philip and Joy Speedy.
Bikers never truly die, they just ride the clouds instead.
A very deep appreciation is expressed to the staff at Cranford Hospice for their wonderful care and support of Peter and his family as they negotiated Peter's journey. Peter was farewelled by his family at a private service. Messages for Peter's family may be sent c/- PO Box 1055, Napier 4140.

Have just seen the sad news of Pete's passing, thought of him often over last 40 odd years, have photos of him back in the early 70s, was best man when I married my first husband. I'm very very sorry for your loss
