Peter SCOTT Obituary
Peacefully at Whanganui Hospital on Wednesday 19 April 2023, aged 86 years. Beloved husband and best mate of Janet for 62 years. Much loved and respected Dad of Gus and Joanna, Brent and Deb, Cudge and Andrea, and Jane and Gary. Much loved Pop to Tyler, Michaela, and Sam; Corina; Benjamin and Alex. Loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Peter's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Wednesday 26 April 2023 at 1.30pm, to be followed by a private cremation. Peter's Service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at www.dempseyandforrest.co.nz 'watch funeral service online' link.

Janet and family, so sorry to hear Peter has died. I have fond memories of Peter and remember working with him for many years. My memories include you Janet, as we were at college together and I was one of your groomsman at your wedding.
My thoughts are for you and your family at this sad time.
My apologies, I won´t be able to attend Peter´s farewell.

Thinking of you Janet and family. I have many happy memories of Pete through being a Suzuki motorcycle dealer in Whakatane and many happy dealings with him over a long period. Special memory is on a dealer trip to Japan in late 70's we tried to do a haka for the Suzuki hierarchy and one of them joined in and Pete picked him up and carried him around the stage above his head, the Japanese chap was a bit frightened but we all had a great laugh. RIP Pete , Richard Underwood.
