I worked with Pete some years ago. I was lucky enough to get to know him and share dreams of the future. I admired his spirit and enjoyed working with him around the farms when we were engaged in viticulture and flower growing. He was incredibly inventive and inspired me. If I suggested we needed something he could make the very thing to fit the bill. I wish I had a fraction of his skill. More importantly, I got to know him and he lifted my spirits.

It saddened me to have heard of his passing well after his service. I would love to have shared my feelings and experiences with those that cared for him.

All love to your memory Pete.

So sorry to hear of Peter's passing, through the Bee Club, he was such a kind and friendly guy, always willing to lend a hand to us new beekeepers and Gerard and I really enjoyed his company over a cup of tea and stories of his Camino walk and many and varied life experiences. RIP, Jackie and Gerard Harrigan

Will always remember sitting around the table at Longburn with a wine or a cuppa chatting with my mate Angela's family, including Peter. He was always lively company, always engaged with life, a smile at the ready. RIP. Gabe McDonnell

I'm very sorry to hear of Peter's passing.
I've worked countless hours of nightshift with Pete out at longburn and never been bored.
His enthusiasm for interesting conversation especially about his beloved bees always brought a smile to my face.
Rest in peace Pete.
