How sad to see another great person pass away as they say we will never forget the good times we had as friends and schoolmates

Dear Jan and Family, so sad to hear the news of Peter's passing. Great memories since being Primary school class mates and in later life attending Levin North School / Horowhenua College Reunions and catching up here in Auckland and Palmerston North. To finally get the long overdue hip operation and then experience the lack of pain was what we thought was to a new lease of getting about and with travel in mind. Saddly after this Pete's "ticker" failed. Will miss his company, conversation and wisdom. The photo is of us in 2017 at Browns Bay Beach with wives Jan and Gloria. In 2018 we even coindencily bumpted into Peter at the Pukeahu National War Memorial in Wellington with the Quinn's Post Trench Experience recreation, created by Sir Peter Jackson for what Anzac soldiers experienced while trying to hold the Gallipoli Peninsula. Dear Jan ....have only heard the news about Peter. Garry and Gloria arranged this morning to take me to their house for morning tea to tell me about his passing ......didnt want to tell me by phone ( bless them !) I am so sorry to hear the news . Have very fond memories of our childhood and school days. Always had a soft spot for Peter.....one of the nice people! Garry always kept me up to date with you both.
