Emeritus Surgeon,
FRACS, FRCSE:
On February 18, 2016 in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of Mardi (deceased) and father of Rick, Tim, Julie, Anthony, Diana, David and Virginia. "Pop" of his 10 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at St. Matthew's Church, 200 King Street, Hastings, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, followed by a reception in the church hall. Family members are invited to attend a private interment of ashes at Havelock North cemetery on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Messages may be sent to the Grayson family, c/o P.O. Box 28005, Havelock North, Hawkes Bay.

I am saddened to learn of Dr Grayson's passing. I first met him when I was 12 years old and needed major hip surgery, he remained my surgeon until he retired. Will never forget him and the wonderful work he carried out for so many years. RIP Mr Grayson

Peter & Mardi,were wonderful people,so kind & caring.Mrs Grayson as i have always called her ,was always a star in my lady Pro Days. always winning the fashion in the fields awards.She always spoilt me at birthday & xmas time !
Mr Grayson an amazing surgeon & kind person so good to us through out our lives .
I"m very sorry we have only just found out of the sad loss .Would have been with you on this day to celebrate the live Of Mr Grayson .

What memories! Peter was such an influence and mentor for so many years. We were so pleased to see him at Dick Wigley's funeral last year looking just as he always did, colourful and in great form!
My boss, teacher and mentor, who guided me into Orthopaedics as a youngsterand remained always such a supportive colleague and friend.
Sincere condolences to you all, his family. Peter is remembered with great affection, and respect. He probably never forgave me for not being a golfer!
