Peter GLEESON Obituary

Dear Ida and family. I was talking with my father Ian Mclaughlan today and he told me of Peters death. He was recalling his conversations with Peter when he was managing the Empire Hotel. My parents, Ian and Glenys Mclaughlan had the Manchester tavern and still live in the area. Peter was also at Massey university at the same time as myself and we knew many of the same people. GLEESON, Peter John:
Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019, at Mercy Hospice, Auckland, aged 59 years. Dearly loved son of Ida and the late Jack Gleeson. Dearly loved husband of Jan. Much loved father and father-in-law of Ben and Ellie (Korea), Kate and James, Emily and Andrew. Much loved brother of Geraldine and Max Enersen. Loved step-Dad of Lloyd and Monica, Dean and Amelia. Loved Uncle of Sophie and Andrew, Bryar and Edward, and George Enersen. Loved son and son-in-law of Cath and the late Milt. Remembered by the little ones Heidi, Hunter, Jack, Pippa, Sam, and Charlie. Friends are invited to a Memorial service for Peter at Beauchamp Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 2.00pm.
