Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Memories are a wonderful thing in life. Te Matai Road, Whakarongo School and the pet lambs were wonderful days.

As I sit and ponder the gap between then and now , the promises to myself to catchup soon , the instances to do so just passed by ! Regretfully now never to be available again .
The good times had at the gatherings of a Thursday evening at the BT's workshop where we observed projects proceed at a glacial pace , the stories shared both long and tall all holding an element of wisdom and truth .
To fill that gap with memories only is too bigger call as time has sifted away , never to be recovered .
Pete's pedantic approach for things to be done just right and his love for motoring on two of four wheels will be one of those memories .
God Bless Peter , I hope we are able to catchup in eternity .

Dear Margaret, Michelle and family,
It was with immense sadness that we learnt from Margaret that her dear brother Peter has passed away suddenly. We the Red Cross gals always enjoyed our time with Peter, and he was a tower of strength for our mate Margaret. We remember the time we shared in Taupo at Margarets birthday and Peter and Michelle generous hospitality.
We send our deepest sympathy to Margaret, and to Peters wife Michelle and family. Thinking of you all during this very sad time. RIP Peter.
Much love from the Taupo gals, Jenny, Phillippa, Sue, Glenys, Snuff
