Paul JURGELEIT Obituary

Very sorry to hear of Paul's passing.He did a great job of our wallpapering and was always very friendly and chatty. Talked a lot about his wife and family.

Paul was a well regarded and highly valued member of the Manawatu Striders Club who will be sorely missed by all his fellow walkers and friends in the club. Paul was forever the gentleman with an always kind word of encouragement for others. He was a generous volunteer quietly helping out when and where needed. Our sincere condolences are extended to Paul's extended family at this very sad time. A kind, honest and humble man taken from us too soon.

So sorry to hear of Paul's death. We remember him fondly from the wonderful wallpapering and painting he did at our home. Every time we ran into him in the community he always said hello and was very pleasant.

Joanne, Val, Brady, Tania, Adam, Aneleise and your beautiful families - we continue to think of you all every day with the incredibly sad news of Paul. We loved being alongside Paul ranging from family connections through to Manawatu Striders. I will so miss my walking buddy and those many, many chats that kept me going. We were very saddened to read that Paul has passed away. Paul has done some outstanding wallpapering and painting for us over the last twenty plus years and we regularly comment on his exceptional work. He was a fabulous tradesman to have in the house- so friendly, chatty and hardworking. He always spoke so fondly of his family. It is hard to believe that such a fit person could die so young. Such sad sad news. Paul was a wonderful soccer (as it was called back then) coach to Stefan - so positive, encouraging and fair. Brady you were a great mate to Stefan through high school. Hold on to all the wonderful memories you have of Paul. Big hugs.

This comes as such a shock to us as it is to you and your family. an amazing man who has impacted us for many years. The long chats we will miss. He also spoke about all his children and was so proud of you all. We will mourn him in our bubble and look forward to being able to celebrate his life with you at the memorial service. When I first Met Paul and his brothers Kim and Shane was at Super Bowl Ten Pin Bowling Alley on Tremaine Ave back in the last 1970's early 1980's when We all bowled in the leagues.
