Linda and Family - our prayers are with you, and our deepest condolences. Paul was one of a kind and we will miss his friendship, humour and the twinkle in his eyes. We will especially miss his faith filled wisdom at our Passionist Companions meetings. RIP Paul.

It is with sadness that I read Paul's obituary in today's paper and offer my deepest sympathy to you all. He was a lovely man whom was well liked in OLOL parish. May he be at rest in the arms of Christ, the Saviour.

Condolences to Linda and family, Paul was a great member of the Northern bowling club and was president for many years .
Colin played many bowls with Paul and went to Taranaki fours for a number of years .
You will be sadly missed by many RIP.

Condolences to Linda and the wider Darbyshire family. I always enjoyed Paul's company, competitiveness and dry wit when playing with and against him at the West End Bowling Club in New Plymouth. A good bowler, and a better man. R.IP. Paul.

Condolences to the Darbyshire family from the PN Marist family.
We remember Paul as a kindhearted supporter of our club and proud father of his son Nick playing for the team. I will never forget the exciting adventure Carpet Court Marist undertook right up to the Chatham cup final with Paul coaxing other stores to assist in sponsoring the little team from Palmy to battle against the big boys in Auckland. Rest in Peace Paul.
