Patrick O'Connor Obituary

O'CONNOR, Patrick James, of Shannon. - Born October 4, 1984 suddenly left us on Sunday December 9, 2012. Dearly loved son of Stephen and Ginny. Loving partner to Carlene. Beloved brother to Deb and Jack, Kaye and Glenn, Shaun and Aliesha, Erin, Brett and Renee, and Liam and Tessa. Adored by his children Kobe, Brooklynn and Oshyn. Favourite uncle to Karleigh, Jazmyn, Jackson, Isabelle, Jada, Cree, Leynn, Eva, Taylor and Mya. Special friend to Kate and Phillip (deceased). A service for Patrick will be held at Poutu Marae, Shannon, 11.00am on Wednesday December 12, 2012 followed by interment at the Shannon Lawn Cemetery. Messages can be sent to 547 Queen Street East, Levin.

Hey dad. Hope you´re having a good time up there with all the other people up there. I miss you more and more everyday, and I want you to know that no matter what, I´ll carry on what you´ve started. It´s nearly Christmas too! Merry Christmas pops, and happy resting.

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Patrick. I attended Levin Intermediate with both Patrick and Shaun. Patrick always had a gentlemanly and kind manner anytime that I spoke to him.
