Patrick DEWAR Obituary
Gilbert (Paddy):
Passed peacefully at Glenwood Masonic Hospital, Masterton, on 8 October 2018, aged 65 years. Treasured grandson of Henry and Ema Power (deceased), and son of Athol and Mary Dewar (deceased). Much loved father and father-in-law of Byron Dewar and Julia Harrild, Anita and Neavin Broughton. Adored Koro of Pikimai, Taitimu, Kawanui and Emiana. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Colleen and Johnny Daysh, Alan and Beverley Dewar, Manahi (deceased) and Donna Dewar, Margaret and Peter Drysdale, Shirley and Kevin Carter, Brenda Hull, Lois Dakartis, Tony Dewar, Robert and Rachel Dewar, Peter and Bridgette Dewar. Valued Uncle Paddy to his many nephews and nieces, dear friend to many. Paddy will lie in state at 133 Renall Street, Masterton, from 2.00pm, Tuesday 9 October. A service to celebrate Paddy's life will be held at 1.00pm, on Friday 12 October, at The Village Chapel, 4-6 High Street, Kuripuni, Masterton, followed by private cremation.
