Patricia Mary (nee Lake):
Born Christchurch NZ on 30th September 1928, passed away on 4th October 2022 at Riverstone Care Home, Palmerston North, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of John (Evert Jan) for 60 years, and dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Diana (Gwenfil), Johanna and Richard, Elizabeth and Alastair, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of Simone and Ash, Benjamin & Timothy; Gareth and Jay, Rose; David and Lizzie; Hayley and Dillon; Alexander; Cameron and Olivia; Matthew; and Jade. Many thanks to the wonderful care and attention from the staff at Riverstone Bupa Care Home. A Thanksgiving service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday 7th October at 1.00pm at the Reformed Church of Palmerston North, 541 Ruahine Street, Palmerston North. Messages may be sent to Diana, 27 Rimu Street, Levin 5510. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators or OMF, at the service. So sorry to hear of Patricia passing, it was an honor to care for her and John while working at Riverstone. I will miss her singing. She was truly a beautiful lady, wife and mother. Heartfelt condolences to John after 60 years..wow
