Patricia Potts Obituary
Patricia Yantz Potts, 81, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Princeton, grew up in Belle Mead, and settled in Mercerville where she raised her family. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1962 and then went right to work as a coder for Opinion Research Corporation and continued to work in the marketing research industry throughout her career with many different companies.
She was a lifelong member of the Harlingen Reformed Church and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 31 in later years. She was an avid sewer, loved to bake, and enjoyed spending time with her cats and family, especially her grandchildren.
Predeceased her parent parents John and Helen (Wyckoff) Yantz; she is survived by her husband of 56 years David T. Potts; son and daughter-in-law David John and Mae Potts; daughter and son-in-law Cynthia "Cyndi" and Walter H. Naylor III; grandchildren Alyssa Naylor, Walter H. Naylor IV, William Naylor, Davison Naylor, Julia Potts, Kailey Naylor, Kate Potts, and Edie Potts; two great grandchildren; and sisters and brother-in-law Donna Bright and Joan and Randall Hagadorn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 5-7pm at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave, Princeton, NJ 08542.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 at 10:30am at the Harlingen Reformed Church, 2142 US-206, Belle Mead, NJ 08502. Burial will follow in the Kingston Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
