Our family knew Pat when I came to study at Massey in the `80 and continue to keep contact until a few days before we got sad news about her death. We would like to express our sincere condolences to her family.
To express our sympathy from afar, we will donate 2500 Baht (110 NZ$) to the school for the blind in Khon Kaen, Thailand in memory of Pat

My deepest condolences to Brian and family. I first met Pat when she was Director at the English Language Centre at Massey (PN) when I was accompanying a group of students from Tokyo, and later on a few occasions in Japan. She was such a bright, warm and welcoming person that even after that first meeting she was like a long time friend. She achieved a great deal in her life and will be fondly remembered and truly missed by many. May she rest in peace. Arohanui.
