Dear Pam, what a surprise you gave me one day at Mercy Radiology, by calling me my maiden name that I had not used for 20 years! You recognised me as a young girl guide who had been in your troop, in Wellington during the 1950s!!
It had been 30 years, and I remembered you with great affection, and admiration for your badge collection.
Later we meet again with dog companions, and I met Malcolm, who is a fellow who is forever, helpful to community groups.
I know you will be solely missed, Rest in peace, Pam, keep that whistle and landyard handy,
Iola Haggarty nee Iola Brackenbury.
