The sapling has fallen, 9 months, 1 day since the passing of his father, Padrick fought his final fight. Surrounded by all the love he went to be with Alan John Daniel Mason 7.5.59 - 2.9.23. Loved always son of Alan (dec) and Sandra. Best brother to Jannine and Jack Burrows and Ronan. Loved grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and most important person to so many. Thank you seems so insignificant to everyone who has had a part in Padrick's life, but we thank you. Padrick will be at home (Denbigh St) if you wish to visit, this is available 6, 8, 9 May 2024. Donations to Blood Cancer and Leukemia Foundation can be made if you wish when you come to see Padrick. A Celebration of Padrick's life will be held at his childhood home on 11 May 2024, 2.00pm onwards. All welcome (no throwing of hands allowed) Please wear your best shoes.

"It's like the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were, and sometimes you didn't want to know the end because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad has happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing this shadow, even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines, it'll shine out the clearer. I know now folks in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going because they were holding on to something. That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for."
