I can not think of any words to express my heartfelt thanks to friends and family for the many letters, emails, cards, flowers and phone messages I received following the death of my beloved husband.

It was such a comfort to know that he had touched so many lives in his way. Your support, sympathy and kind words you wrote about Owen have meant so much and it is in times of sadness and grief that such personal words and friends are so valuable. I appreciate these condolence messages more than I can say.

Sincere condolences to family and friends of the "big guy". I was was just talking about him last week with another old friend not realising he had passed. I first met Owen in my apprentice days at Air New Zealand and we had many fun times together including some great ski trips. Ours paths crossed several times over the years including some work together in Malaysia in the 1990's and more recently on a visit to Singapore a couple of years back. He was always the gentle giant and an awesome guy to share time with. RIP Owen.

We are very sad to hear of Owens passing. Such fond memories of a truly nice guy who will be missed by so many.

Being one to work last with him (working with him for a number of years), witnessing him fighting his decease, the admiration for him as a person is huge. His drive, determination and human touch were unique. My thoughts go out to those closest to him who he is leaving behind. Words are not enough, the memories remain. Thanks for everything Owen.
