To Nancy and family extending my condolences on the passing of Owen. Sorry I'm unable to attend his funeral today as I'm in Auckland and return to Feilding Thursday but will pay my respects to a great man when I next visit the cemetery. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Nancy and family, relatives, friends, ever so sad to read of Owen's passing. 62 years of marriage gives you a lot of memories. Us growing up in the 50/60 with families like the Gleesons, Kinsella's, Sinkinsons, Kelly's, and the Rush's . Coming into the Rush family, eventually marrying Peter we have very, very fond memories of all of the above families I do recall we started to loose touch with you and Owen as you moved to Palmerston North. But you both retained your love of Feilding. Treasure your memories, these and your faith support of many will help you through this sad time of loosing a husband, father, father-in-law, granddad, and a beloved friend to all.
Sadly we won't be there to celebrate Owen's life and farewell, but you truly will all be in our thoughts and prayers.
