I have so many precious memories of Mrs Swain that I will always hold in my heart, too many to share here. Sunday mornings would find her driving their van down Norfolk street, stopping at houses and tooting the horn along the way, for children to go to Sunday school. She introduced me to brownies, guides, timbrells and junior soldiers. The Swains door was always open for me to enter, (which I did often). Many times the smell of baking greeted me as did Mrs Swains smile. If not baking, the sewing machine was out. I always felt welcomed and embraced. She cared so much for others and gave so much of herself.
Now in the presence of her Lord and Saviour. A race well run and a life well lived.
Condolences to you Mr Swain and all the Swain family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Deepest sympathies to all my Swain cousins. I hold precious memories of the times us Griffiths kids spent at Aunty Normas in the school holidays back in our young days. She was such a generous soul & I hope she is being rewarded now for all the good she did for others in her lifetime, She well deserves it. R.I.P Aunty Norma.
