Noel JOHNSTON Obituary

Formerly of Kopane, Palmerston North, passed away peacefully at Millvale Lodge, Paraparaumu, on Wednesday, 17th September 2025, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of Cecelia. Loved father and father-in-law of Stephanie and Blair, Duncan and Clare, Nigel and Cecille. Proud Grandad Noel to all his Grandchildren. A special thank you to the staff at Millvale Lodge for his wonderful care. Messages to the Johnston family can be posted to PO Box 723, Paraparaumu 5254, or left in Noel's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz As per Noel's wishes, a private family service is to be held.

Was very sorry to learn of Noel's passing. We were class mates in 4th and 5th form at Palmerston North Boys. I don't get to PN very often. I remember having a chat and laugh at the Centenary in 2002. Rest in Peace Noel

I worked for Noel in the late seventies, he gave me the chance to start my farming life which turned out to be very successful. Noel and Cec were very good to me, wonderful employers. I am very sad to hear of Noel´s passing, my thoughts are with Cec and family.

To Cecelia & family,
It was with sadness I read of Noel's passing,
I cannot remember a time over the years with any interaction with Noel, where he did'nt give you his full attention, co-operation, & knowledge willingly & with good grace.
To me, he was a genuine, friendly & sincere man, who I respected & liked a lot.
He will be genuinely missed by many.
Please accept my sincere sympathy in your loss.
