Nathaniel Brogadir Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nathaniel ("Nat") Brogadir, 40, of Westport, Connecticut. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and son-in-law, Nat passed away surrounded by his family on September 28, 2025.

Nat was born in 1985 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Economics and formed lifelong friendships.

At the center of Nat's life was his family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Jennifer-whom he first met at sleepaway camp when they were 12 years old-and an adoring father to his two daughters, Hadley and Kira, the lights of his life. Nat embraced every chance to be part of their world: on the sidelines as a soccer coach, on the slopes as a patient ski instructor, and in the audience as a proud, supportive dance dad.

Nat brought this same energy and dedication to his professional life. He began his career as an internet equity analyst on Wall Street at major banks including Stifel and Citigroup. After several years, he ran and helped run several companies within the technology sector, including delivery.com. Most recently, Nat was leading a portfolio company initiative with 1848 Ventures/Westfield.

Nat is survived by his wife, Jennifer Brogadir; his daughters, Hadley and Kira Brogadir; his parents, Dr. Stuart and Ilene Brogadir; his twin brother, Benjamin Brogadir and his wife, Jackie Brogadir; sister-in-law Alison Levine and her husband, Owen Minde; in-laws Annette and Jack Levine; and four nephews: James and Grant Brogadir, and Samuel and Benjamin Minde.

Nat will be remembered for his boundless love for family and friends, being a sports and fitness enthusiast, and the light he brought into every room.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 30, at 2:00 p.m. at The Community Synagogue ("TCS"), 30 Hillspoint Road, Westport, CT. Following a private interment, the family will be receiving visitors at TCS, from approximately 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A shiva minyan will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Donations in memory of Nat may be made to TCS, the synagogue at which Nat and his family celebrated many meaningful events and holidays.

I am so sad to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathies to your family at such a devastating loss. I worked with Dr. B for many years in Manchester and he talked about the twins as my daughter Heather went to West High School with the boys. I can't even imagine the pain and loss you feel. Hugs to all of you!

My deepest condolences to the family. It´s heartbreaking to hear about just now and reading that I missed the funeral hurts. I had the pleasure of working with him at delivery.com for a few years and he was a pleasure to be around. I cherish the conversations, the outings we had as a team and his smile just like we see in this picture. May he Rest in Peace and may God be with his family. I carpooled with the brogadir boys when they were little. What I remembered most about Nat was that he let his brother Ben shine all of the time. He was one of the warmest, caring, and kind children that I can remember.
My heart is so heavy for all of you. . Barbara Scotch

Gosh, although many years have passed since we have seen you all, we will always remember your family in our Old Sawmill Rd neighborhood. Our daughter, Lisa, babysat these wonderful brothers, and they were such good boys. You were so kind to her and to my family always. It was a nice neighborhood for them to grow up in! We are so saddened to see this news. We hold you in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. May your heart always hold his light and know he will always be remembered by those who loved him.
