I met Milton waiting for his wife at MidCentralDHB. I took him home otherwise he was there for a total four hours. He kindly invited me in for beverage - but I was in a hurry so he gave me his Mercedes Business card and chatted all the way to his house. When I finally made the effort to stop for a cuppa - the gates were locked and he had died and was being buried that day. A chirpy guy who was great company for a short space in time. RIP

I remember Milton fondly. He was people centric and Jan and Milton were always welcoming. He was steely determined in his interests -in particular drainage and Regional Council matters. He had a passion for photos from Valuation Department social events & was proud of his extensive matchbox car and model tractor collection. He was managed by Jean so ably who also bred the most beautiful South Suffolk sheep. Milton was good man with strong morals and I miss our catchups! Pete Loveridge

Milton I know You had many opinions on things especially local government departments who tried hard to gag you from expressing your point of view. You were a man who gathered all the facts before presenting your case and people tried to basically shut you down but you were no quitter and I admired you for that.Pretty sure where you are now the same mind thought will prevail and you will be doing your best to get things sorted.
Miss our conversations
Cousin Russ.
