To Jean,Erin,Jillian & familys,
As we did'nt acknowledge Milton's passing at the time due to undecided funeral arrangements, please accept this late msge.
As long as I can remember Milton & Jean lived at Tokomaru & I always thought their brick house that Milton built on Tokomaru Rd was the nicest in the village AND it still looks smart!
There are too many occasions to mention of the interactions with Milton, but suffice to say I always found Milton cheerfull, community minded, & always had time to discuss local items of interest.
His piano playing at local dances in years gone by spring to mind.
In many ways Milton played quite a prominant role in the community for many years, & with him & Jean's shifting from the district it was sort of an "end of an era" in many ways.
Please accept our sincere sympathy in your loss.
Kind regards,
Peter & Margaret Claridge.
