As kids one of our highlights was having Michelle as our babysitter. We were in awe of the grace and warmth this stylish, beautiful and kind person bought into our home. We also loved teasing her about boyfriends (they should be so lucky), and worming our way into staying up just a little bit later to absorb her presence. I can only imagine the joy she bought to her own children. Paul, Lois, Chris, Henry, Ted, Tash & Tai we are so sorry for your loss. Fly high Michelle x

I am so very sorry to hear of Michelle's passing. My deepest sympathy for her family. I am an ex-colleague of Michelle's from Victoria. She was the best HR Manager I have ever had the privilege of working with. A terrible loss.

Dear Chris, Henry and Ted,
Michelle was such an inspiration and mentor to me at VUW. She was brilliant at what she did. I loved hearing endless stories about her boys and family. I remember we spent some time cutting out dinosaurs for Henry's birthday. You could tell how special her family was to her. My families prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time.

It is with great sadness I read of Michelle's passing. She was such a beautiful little girl and a pleasure to teach. My deepest sympathy to all Michelle's whanau. (ex St Joseph's school)

It is with a heavy heart to hear the sad news of a past colleague. First email from Michelle was taken quite back as working in a complex environment, boy did she know a thing or too.
