To Dear Barbara
We are deeply saddened to hear about Mick .
Mick and yourself have been so inspirational to so many people over the years. It was an absolute honour to know him. I thank God that he brought you both into my life over half a century ago in Abbey Hulton, Stoke on Trent. The scriptures say `there was a man sent from God whose name was John´ (John1:6). Well, without doubt, there was another man sent from God (to the Abbey) whose name was Mike Russell. He had such an amazing influence and impacted so many lives including my self. How can I ever say thank you? . As you know Mike played a real part in why I serve as an ordained minister today.
He has now received his `Well done thou good and faithful servant´ and is with our Savour The Lord Jesus Christ . I thank God there is a heavenly reunion day planned and that we will meet again .
Barbara be assured of our great love and prayers . You too are very special in our hearts.
With great fondness

To Babara and family, I would like to offer my condolences in your loss of Michael, who has been called back to glory. I remember Michael as a good Christain man and loved to share his faith quite openly. He invited a few times to preach there at St Mary Magdalene Church there in Ashurst and also when he took time out, I filled in for him there. I am sorry but I am unable to attend his service but be assured of my prayers as you all prepare for this. Every blessing. May he rest in Peace and rise in glory. Sincerely Matua David
