Michael HOWELL Obituary

Mike was my colleague, friend, and teacher. He mentored me at ANU and led by example.
I am saddened by his passing, but knowing that, during his last years, he wasn't really there, I cannot but think this is a relief.

Dear Julie, John,Paul & families
A special place in my heart for Uncle Michael. I can not imagine the heartache you have all been through over the years. I treasure a carved camphor jewellery box that Uncle Michael gave me when I was probably 10yrs old. The amazing family research that Michael did is something I also treasure. Such an amazing man, you must be so proud of his accomplishments. Sending you lots of love.

A very much loved Uncle who will always be remembered for his amazing sporting ability (cricket) and love, and labour, of horticulture but most importantly the legacy he has left his wider family of the research and written record of our family history.
