Michael Raymond (Mike):
Formerly of Oroua Road. On Friday, November 17th 2017 at Arohanui Hospice, after a battle which he fought to the end. Aged 71years. Dearly loved husband of June for 50 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Margaret and Tony (Aust.), Gareth and Helle (Norway), Hayden and Amanda (Feilding). Loved Poppy of Jade and Jesse; Markus and Emma; Caitlin and Anna. Great-Poppy to Lincoln. Special friend to Shelley and Greg. Loved brother of Gail. In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4414 would be appreciated and may be left in the Chapel foyer. Messages to the Edwards Family, C/- 280 Kimbolton Road, Feilding 4702, or may be left at www.beauchamp.co.nz Friends are invited to attend a service for Mike at the Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Wednesday, November 22nd 2017 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.

To June and family.So sad to here that Mike has passed away.I got to know Mike through being a client at Farmlands,he was a great guy to deal with and I had some good yarns. RIP Mike.

We remember Mike as our 'old' Oroua Road neighbor. Fond memories of his love of wine, his garden, and just being a cheerful neighbor. Thank you Mike for your friendship, caring, welcoming nature. Always had something to share be it knowledge or just at home, the door always open. Loved your caring nature of the environment and in particular the world of native plants.
We will miss you, however know you are no longer having to fight the battle and will be at peace.
