Mrs Reader I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have with you and your Reader family. Merrilyn, thank you for being a strong, humble, kind, loving woman who understood people. Thank you Merrilyn for everything you gave to the community. Thank you Mrs Reader for being you and giving me what I needed, calling a spade a spade, often with a humourous twist! Mrs Reader you will be forever loved and missed. Our thoughts and tears flow for you and the Reader clan.

I was so sorry to hear of Merrilyn's passing. I have very fond memories of her at Medlab where she worked with my Mum Anna Willoughby. Merrilyn spent many evenings with my parents at their home in Makino Road .. and came to several celebrations at my Nana Pearce's home in Palmerston North. She always had a smile on her face and her laugh was infectious.
We will be thinking of Merrilyn and her family in the days ahead.
