We are so saddened and shocked to hear the sad news of Melissa's passing. Melissa was the nicest of people. Bright, bubbly, always pleased to see you, she made us feel so welcome each time we saw her.
Our hearts go out to Lily and Emma and to Jon.
Love and good memories of happy times.

Heartbroken & shocked to loose one of my oldest & dearest friends, Melissa. Loved our coffee catch-ups, the shoulder for my worries and the giggles for fun. Always such a sincere beautiful soul. Her body hugs were legendary! You are always with me Melissa. I'll carry you in my heart❤forever.

Melissa was a very popular member of the Napier IR Child support team and we really missed her when she moved to Palmy, I had managed to touch base again recently on my return to IR & as above she was so bubbly and positive and happy with life in general - we laughed a lot in our catch up & really had a good old chin wag ! Something we all know Melissa loved. Condolences to all her family including our very important work family both in Palmerston North & Napier. We miss ya Melissa. From all the team from the Good ol'days in Napier !

Whilst I didn't know Melissa as such, we used to pass each other on the way to work, going in different directions, and would always say hello or wave to each other. One day Melissa stopped me and introduced herself - she seemed such a lovely genuine person, very bubbly and happy. My thoughts are with all her loved ones.
