Dear Max and family - fond memories of your days with the Car Club, you and Murray Starnes, Steve Bond, HQ's, racing, drinking etc, and having lots of fun. Caught up a couple of times at the TreeHouse in later years. Condolances to your family.

Sitting on the wharf in whakatane right now having a whiskey and raising a glass Max, remembering the game fishing trips out from here and all the Friday afternoons at the princess tavern with the boys, Nick and Yoda.

Max was a good friend and a genuine good fair businessman to me over the years. He gave my son his very first job after school which has always been appreciated. Will always have fond memories of Max. Condolences to his family.
