Deep sympathies to Monty's family. I have very fond memories of my time working for Monty in the early 70s,picking, packing and delivering his beautiful Chrysanthemums, packing the White ones to be sent to Sydney for Mothers Day. And a flight in the small plane . A very intelligent clever man greatly missed.

My sympathies to the family of Monty Hollows at this sad time. Ninety-one years of a life well lived. Monty employed my husband for seasonal work at Cloverlea Orchards - he was a good and fair boss. Kind also, Monty (the pilot) took some of my young children for a flight in a small plane. Monty employed my husband's brothers a couple of seasons. I also worked for him for two seasons carrying those impressive chrysanthemums, bagging apples, and apple picking. I remember the greyhounds at the orchard, the rottweilers at the house, the indoor swimming pool, Carol Hollows and their young son, Jason. Monty touched many lives. R.I.P.

So Sorry to read of Maurice's Death. I am researching the Hollows family, and Maurice & his son visited with John some years ago at my home in Whangarei. I am Norrie & Mavis Hollows daughter. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. God Bless. Diane

Condolences from the Hansen family formerly of Gillespies Line, Palmerston North. Monty has often been mentioned in conversations over the years. Also his brothers, Colin & John. John had the same birthdate as my brother Peter, but John was one year older.

I remember Monty in my younger days in the Life Boys, which was a young version of the Boys Brigade, like Cubs are to Scouts. I remember him as a very fun loving man who was well respected by us all. A great leader and I learnt a lot from him about life's futures.
