DANDO, Maurice Rhys (Rhys), of Palmerston North. - On September 3, 2013, peacefully, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Elaine for 51 years. Father and father-in-law of Alan and Philly (deceased), Marie, John and Raewyn (Melbourne), Shaun and Sonya (Gisborne). Grandfather of Morgan, Crystal, Joshua, and Leah. Eldest son of Athol and Molly (both deceased), brother of Bryan and Kay (Perth), Carole and Graham Shapcott (Upper Hutt), Jill and Barry Guy (Whitby), Andrew and Lorraine, and Paul and Annette. "Freed after a long battle". In lieu of flowers, a donation made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, C/- PO Box 527, Palmerston North 4440, would be appreciated or may be left in the Chapel foyer.
