Maurice BROOKES Obituary
Maurice Graham: (Artist):
Of Dannevirke. Born in Stourbridge, England. Died peacefully in Palmerston North Hospital on July 29 2016. Aged 83 years. Dear friend of Joy Rose. He is survived by his children Yolanda, Adrienne, Matthew and his much loved grandchildren. A private cremation has taken place. Family and close friends will be celebrating Maurice's life in a memorial service to be held at a future date.
The Light, the Light, always the Light.

Our thoughts & prayers are with Joy Rose, Yolanda, Adrianna , Matthew & all Maurice's Grand children for their sad loss.
I knew Maurice from our meeting together at the Dannevirke Art Society for the last 7 years & knew him as a kind and intelligent man with a common love of art & our countries of birth & adoption & great sense of humour !
He was a man of deep spirituality which showed in many of his paintings. We talked & prayed together & he knew the joy of the forgiveness of God.
He will be missed by me greatly. Ian.
