Mary RAMSDEN Obituary

Peacefully in Masterton on 16th June 2024, aged 97. Loved wife of the late Roy Algar and the late Ian (Jack) Ramsden. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Jocelyn and Wayne Harrison, Richard and Kathleen Algar, and Raewyn and Lee Watson. Loved friend of Jack's family, Adrienne (dec) and Bob (dec), Peter and Liz, Jenny and Noel, and Nigel and Andrea. Dearly loved grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, and a friend to many. The family wish to thank the staff of Glenwood Masonic Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mary during her time with them. A private service has been held.

Sympathy to you all, but especially to you Raewyn my dear friend.
Although your mother had lived a good many years I still felt grieved to read of her passing. Mary was such a lovely lady and it was a pleasure to talk with her and share memories. She is part of our shared history. May the many memories you have of times together bring you comfort and help to ease the pain of your loss.
