To the family of Marion Simmons, I was very sorry to hear of Marion's death. You don't know me but I am the daughter of Jane Grey Levy (née Stratford) who was Marion's first cousin I remember Marion and her mother Miro and father Allan with great fondness. Marion was very kind to me after my mother died in 2009. May she rest in peace, Janet Woods (née Levy)

To the family, your Mother and Father leave a tremendous legacy to many people my family included, I first met your Mother in the company of your Father in Rongotea some 50 years ago, our House had been destroyed by Fire, we came home to our rented State House to find your Parents in a KOMBI van seemingly filled with Toys and provisions. A Knitted Toy boy rag Doll remained a prized possession for many a year after that. Some years later we moved to Foxton, as if by magic your Dad this time turned up welcoming us as we had just moved onto our farm.
Your Mother remembered today and your Late Fathers Legacy is the fine family that they set before them and the footprint they and you made and Make , it has been some 40 years since I have had contact with any of you but it is never forgotten. Our thoughts are with you
