Marie HORSFIELD Obituary

Kia ora Kent and whanau. I am Rowena Kui nee Cuff, Coral and Rohan Cuffs daughter from Stratford. It is a very long time since we saw each other. I have very fond memories of Marie, Arthur and Ian and your grandparents Annie and Leonard were amazing when I was growing up. I was very sad to read that Marie has passed. Kent, Andrea and wider family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved mother and grandmother. I fondly remember Marie as being very gracious and kind, a true lady in every sense of the word. She has been such a big part of your lives and you will all miss her dearly. Sincerest sympathy from our family to yours.

Marie was the most wonderful speech and drama teacher and it was a privilege to have been taught by her as a teenager. She loved literature and instilled this in her students. She will be missed by us all. Love to her whanau from us in Nelson.
