Margaret Aileen:
On Sunday 10 April 2022 peacefully at Cook Street Nursing Centre, Palmerston North, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Colin, much loved Mum of Christopher and Jocelyn, Kevin, Barry and Denise, Linda and Tom Shannon, and Peter. Loved Nanna of 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Mary Cameron and the late Owen, Joan, Fr Kevin, Brian, and Pat King. Messages to Cleghorn Family, c/- PO Box 23, Pahiatua. A Requiem Mass for Margaret will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church, Ruahine Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday 20 April 2022 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Mangatainoka Lawn Cemetery, Pahiatua. We knew Margaret through St Mary's, family group and Rebus club. She was a colourful warm personality who spoke her mind very directly. Our condolences especially to Linda and Tom.

Our condolences to you all
Our family went to Bluff rd School with all of your family(the C leghorns),Valda to Colin as we were raised next door.Helping at times catching pony's so your folk could ride home etc.Consequently when you and Colin married and then shifted we lost touch until about Sept. when Janet was in hospital and I think you were more or less next bed away small world.Apart from that at times memory's are rekindled of the past, good times and fun/sorrow .
