I send my deepest sympathy at this time. Malcolm "Mr Grant" was truely an inspitation in my life. I had the honor of having him as my Form 2 teacher at St George's Wanganui 1987. The first thing he told his class was I have never been knighted nor will I ever be knighted my name is Mr Grant not Sir!! I then had the honor years later to be an employee at Churton School where I had to learn that Mr Grant was now Malcolm, it took some time to get used to that. He was also my son's Principal. Two generations and still the same inspirational person. Malcolm was a true Gentleman and I'm happy to say friend. I will never forget him. His humility, understanding, caring and support will always be with me. My favourite teacher, my favourite boss.
