Lynne was a bright and vibrant person. We shared a love of walking, art and travel and shared many meals together in Paekakariki. My deepest sympathy. She will be missed.

Dear Susan. Our condolences on the loss of Lynne, she brightened up so many peoples lives. I remember when Ray started lecturing at WP with Lynne... long before I was a student there. He used to come home with stories of Lynne that always brought a smile. When it was my time to start at WP and do the VCD foundation course in 89-90, I met Lynne for the first time and she kept a smile on my face whenever I saw her from that time forward while I studied and whenever I had the fortune to catch up with her in later years. I know she was an icon and also important to my fellow classmates and the faculty. She was an original, funny, talented and caring and we're grateful for the valuable time we had with her - she will be missed. x
