HUNT, Louis Elvery, of Palmerston North. - On Friday, August 23, 2013, peacefully at Aroha Lifecare, surrounded by his loving family, in his 88th year. Dearly beloved husband and devoted companion of Joan for 62 years, precious and dearly loved father and father-in-law of Kathryn and Rod Mulliss, Marilyn and Peter Schroeder, Debbie and Tim Short, Christopher and Derryn. Treasured Granddad of David and Kalesita, James and Natalie, and Matthew and Brooke, Anthony, and Michael and Melanie, Rebecca, Jacinda and Louisa, Samuel, Stephanie, Hannah, Emily and Chloe. Great Granddad to Joshua and Micah. A huge thanks to the caring staff of Aroha for tremendous support given to Louis and family in recent months. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated. A service for Louis will be held at Wesley Broadway, 264 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 12 noon, thereafter internment at the Rongotea Cemetery.
