Lorna BLACK Obituary

Lorna passed away peacefully on Friday, 15 November 2024, at Julia Wallace Retirement Village; in her 99th year. Much loved wife of the late Des. Dearly loved Mum and mother-in-law of Jenny and John Guthrie, Vicki Taylor, Chris and Kate Black, and Kathy and Paul Gibson. Adored Nana and Nan of Kirsten, Anna, Hamish, Antony, Jane, Georgie, Alice, Henry, Andy, Rebecca, and Elizabeth, their partners, and her 8 great-grandchildren. Messages to the Black family, PO Box 12-100, Inner City, Palmerston North 4444. A celebration of Lorna's life will be held at Pathways at St David's, 3 Rainforth Street, Palmerston North on Saturday, 23 November 2024, at 1.30pm. Sorry to hear of your passing Lorna. So close to the 100th year. Thank you for being a super mother in law to myself, grandmother to Kirsten and Antony, and great grandmother to Joshua. To Jenny, Vicki, Chris, and Kathy my thoughts are with you through this difficult time, especially on Saturday.
