To the Worboys family. So sorry to read, the passing of your mum. I had the pleasure of knowing Lois, firstly when I went to Woodlands school. She was a local parent who would come in and teach us cooking and sewing. A very talented lady. Years on we worked together at Hawkes Bay Farmers. We were a very close knit work bunch. Sending our deepest sympathy. Garry and Susan Barlow née Wiki

To Carol and Chris and Family
I met your mother only a couple of years ago as a member of the Mission Without Borders, Cover Up Knitting Group, where we have been busy of late knitting and sewing up rugs for the refugees in Ukraine
As I got to know Lois over the weeks I became very fond of her. A wise woman with lots of experience, knowledge, skills and information of bygone days, and we always had interesting chats
The afternoon tea she provided for us each week were scrumptious, her ability to cook was admired by the group. Lois always cooked a birthday cake for each of us when our birthday came around, which was very much appreciated.
From what I know of Lois you were very fortunate to have such a loving, skilful and kind mother.
We send you our sincere sympathy. We were privileged to know her. We will miss her at our knitting sessions in the coming weeks.
