I was very sorry to read that Llanwyn had passed away. I taught him at Flaxmere primary in Std 2 and he was always a jovial yet serious boy and very hard working student. RIP Llanwyn

Dear Trish,
So sorry to hear of Llanwyns passing. I loved the opportunity to get to know you all better sharing the time in Melbourne. And when I came back down under after 10 years away Smithy was often at the same conference or event and it was great to see his smiling face! I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll be watching on line today.

Our thoughts and love with Trish, Barb and the family. We have great memories of the Air Force days when Smithy would come to Invercargill and Queenstown with Don.
Old cars, and duckshooting at Waituna!! What happy memories for the boys.
Thinking of you all on Thursday, and we will watch the Service online - Sue and Ray Simms, Queenstown

Our deepest condolences to Trish, Connie , Aaron, and Louise. Llanwyn was a fantastic bloke, who wasn’t just a great colleague to work with , but also a great friend ! In the Texas days, he ensured my family and I settled nicely with the Beca and RNZAF expat family . We have nothing but fond memories!

Trish, Connie, Aaron, and Louise,

We have some many great memories of times with Llanwyn; of the great guy he was and of many share events and occasions together. He lived life to the absolute fullest, gave everything his all giving the opportunity to know the truly amazing person he was. We enjoyed and cherish every moment we got to spend with him and you Trish - the balls and other events where we got to have a lot of fun together.
He will forever be in our hearts and we were privileged to have been able to call him friend. Our deepest sympathies to you all, we have truly lost a great one and he will be sorely missed.

Lots of love

My deepest condolences to all of Llanwyn's extended family. He was a giant of a man and I count myself very fortunate to have worked with such an able, resourceful, tenacious, affable and talented man. He was much more then just a work colleague and will not be forgotten by me.
