Lisa Pullum Obituary

Lisa LaVerne Price Pullum went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. She was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on September 27, 1954 to beloved parents Bobby and LaVerne Price. Lisa grew up in Savannah, Georgia, where she attended Groves High School and lived there most of her life. At the time of her son Jason's birth, Lisa was living in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She spent her last months residing in Chesapeake, Virginia, where she was close to her son and grandson.

Lisa served as caregiver to maternal grandmother, Mary Grace Lucas and mother, LaVerne in their dying days. Lisa had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and enjoyed attending church services. She also enjoyed crafting and created beautiful home decor and silk flower arrangements. Lisa had a green thumb and took good care of her many plants. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by nephew Eric Cortes, sister Julie Price Cortes, father Bobby Price, and mother LaVerne Lucas Price. She is survived by her only son Jason Pullum (Rachel), grandson Jonah Pullum, brother Buddy Price (Stormy), nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and her sweet dachshund Beasley.

A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8th, followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel. Burial will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.
