Lew was the driver of choice many years back when he was with Newman's and Madge Coach's when the Salvation Army Band went away for the weekend. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Lew always had a smile for everyone and would go out of his way to help you. He will be missed by so many.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lew's passing. The nicest bus driver I've ever had the pleasure to know in many years of taking the city buses. I'll miss Lew on the early Milson run and the Massey buses. He was a genuinely lovely bloke. My thoughts and prayers to his family at this sad time.

Was really sad to hear of Lewis passing. Always was a kind jolly brother in law to me.

To the hirini family sorry to hear of the loss of lew. I remember him when he used to drive for newmans bus services. Also my grandparents used to have him come visit and he would sit on the stool and sing doggy in the window. Wonderful memories regards lyn miller
