Leslie Herrick: QSO, QC
District Court Judge (retd.) Died peacefully on May 25, 2016, at his home, Greenhaugh, at Whakarongo near Palmerston North. Most dearly loved son of the late Melvine and Rita Atkins; cherished husband and best friend of Lynne. Beloved father of Rebecca and Paul Garland, John and Delle Atkins, and George and Angela Atkins. Loved grandfather of Milly, Jesse and Olive, Ruby and Joe, and Max and Isla; and precious brother of Swannie. The family gives thanks to Dr Michael Short, and the staff of Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North. Donations to the Hospice may be sent in lieu of flowers. Messages to be sent to 914 Napier Road, RD10, Palmerston North. Funeral details to follow.
