Erica, John, Andrew, Rachel and families I'm sorry for your loss. I met Leonie in the early 1960s, so there's been quite a history.
She taught me how to knit a layette during my first pregnancy.
In recent years, her stamina at her age with all her walking and cycling was truly amazing. She'd often call in on her way somewhere or wave as she went past.
I bought a native tree (anonymously) from 'trees that count' as a living memorial for you, your families and because l thought she would like that, along with future opossums
May God bless you and your family during this time of grief

So sorry to hear of Leonie passing. I have memories around the table at the Salisbury homes in Feilding and Colyton. Always hospitable and fun. Great lady. Much love to you all Erica, John, Andrew and Rachel. Barbs Kraakman (nee McIvor)

Leonie was such an inspiration, with her remarkable ability to intuit the spiritual needs and struggles of the people she met, and a determination to wrestle to find the deeper solution to people's struggles. She gave a huge and deep contribution wherever she was active. May God pour a blessing on her family at this time.

My sincere sympathy to the Salisbury family on the sudden passing of Leonie
I have known Leonie only in the last few years. During this time I assisted her with Church Services for the elderly in Rest-homes and also she knitted rugs for the Ukraine refugees. Leonie had a real servant heart and I experienced in her a person who lived a life according to Micah 6 verse 8.
I will miss you Leonie and thanks for your example of humility and service

Sending fond memories of the many ISCF camps we did together and for the way Leonie served so humbly in the background. Your home in Feilding was always a hive of activity. Stuart and Leonie impacted so many young people's lives over the years. Love and blessings to the whanau. What an amazing heritage you have.

Leonie and I ministered together for many years at Porirua hospital chapel. She also worked with me on my house, replacing all the doors we had fun shared laughter and sadness through the years. Leonie a woman of faith, faithful , compassionate and loyal.

Leonie was a woman of faith with so many and varied talents, and with a real sense of fun - 82 going on 60! I always had the utmost respect for both her and Stuart. Love and sympathy to all the family.
