Kevin BROMLEY Obituary

Of Manawatu, Rangitikei, Whanganui and more recently Arvida, Olivetree. Passed away at Palmerston North Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday 13 March 2024, aged 83 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Brenda, Megan and Andrew. Loved and adored always by his cherished late partner Chris and late wife Alison. Kevin was one of those rare people that held such a huge zest for life, fun, and sharing and making fabulous new memories with family and friends both in NZ and around the world. His compassion for both his partners in life, friends and family, was immense and this has been shown by the number of you that have been so devastated by his sudden decline in health which followed the loss of his beloved Chris. Thank you for the comfort you have brought to him through your visits, texts, emails and phone-calls. A special thanks to the staff at Palmerston North Hospital who compassionately and professionally assisted Kevin through his final journey. All messages to the Bromley family, c/- 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North. According to Kevin's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held at Beauchamp Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Dr, Palmerston North, on Saturday 23 March 2024 at 11.00am.

Sad to hear of Kevin´s passing. Remember fondly glasses of wine and impromptu meals with Kevin and Chris when we were neighbours in Royal Oak Drive.

So very sad to hear of Kevin´s passing.
His bright bubbly quick witted humour will be fondly remembered by all of us who worked together at New Zealand Motor Corporation in the 1970s
RIP Kevin

I have lovely memories of Kevin related to the Donkey world. He was the president of our society many years ago and he had a lot of donkeys at the time. I bought one of my best donkeys from him. He was also a great judge and officiated at many of our shows a few years ago. He was always great company and good fun, so cheerful and positive. I am sad he has gone

Kevin, David and I will remember your positive, kind and fun-loving attitude to life. We enjoyed having you and Chris as neighbour's and our visits to your new home at Olivetree, you were always a generous host. Your gardens were a delight and I love the idea that your friends are invited to bring their floral tributes to your memorial service.

I'm so very sad to read this. My late husband (Neal) and I enjoyed lots of contact with both Kevin and Chris for many years, but not of late. This was in connection with the wonderful world of donkeys in which we all had a very close involvement. RIP Kevin (and also Chris.) Wonderful, caring people. Condolences to the Bromley family.
